New Orleans has one of the nations highest poverty rates, exceeding 24% compared to the National Average of 10.5%.
T-Town Community Garden was created in honor of our dear friend who always made it her mission to uplift the community and educate the youth. We have created objectives in direct response to the growing number of youth with poor access to meaningful community empowering programs and even less access to organic food in their neighborhoods.
